Contains correspondence, manuscripts, lists of eclipses, graphic designs, Sander's Diary of Usefull [sic] information &c. 1845, and notes on horticulture. Sanders' manuscripts include "An essay on alcohol, is it injurious or beneficial to the human system?"; "Essay on literary and mechanical institutions"; and "A manuscript of a few of the words taken out of Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language". Also includes a letter from S. Tomiyama to the Chicago Florist Club (1893 Apr. 27).
